Congratulations, you got the promotion. They asked you to lead.
Or better yet, you took the plunge and launched out on your own. You decided to lead.
Either way, what happens every day from now on will determine your future income and influence, and the potential impact and success of your organization.
But you wouldn’t want it any other way. Leaders never do.
So welcome to the club, I look forward to hearing from you. And please remember, a great leader lifts many others up and brings plenty of people along. It’s only lonely at the top if you don’t know what you’re doing.
The moral of the story: There’s a lot of people counting on you. Never, never, ever stop learning.
